To mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album Tourist History, much loved Northern Irish indie band TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB have today announced a huge outdoor show taking place at London’s Crystal Palace Park on Friday 26th June 2026, performing the album in full alongside some of their other greatest hits. They’ll also be joined on the day by special guests THE VACCINES, playing What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, plus alt-pop artist JAMES MARRIOTT and indie rock four-piece THE ROYSTON CLUB.
London is the first place outside of Ireland we called home, we recorded Tourist History in this city and it’s been the setting for so many iconic moments in our career. We’re proud to be Irish but this also feels like a hometown show for us. London knows how it’s done so we can’t wait to celebrate with you – Two Door Cinema Club
Hailing from Bangor and Donaghadee, Northern Ireland’s TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB first gained widespread attention with their debut album Tourist History, which included standout singles ‘What You Know’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and ‘Undercover Martyn’, mixing guitar-driven, post-punk hooks with dancey, electronic polish.
The band, comprising of singer/guitarist/programmer Alex Trimble, guitarist/singer Sam Halliday and bassist/singer Kevin Baird, released the album in 2010, hit Number One on the Irish chart and landed a spot on the BBC’s coveted Sound of 2010 Poll. It went on to be a globally lauded, seminal debut record taking them from the garage where they wrote the album in Bangor to the main stages of festivals around the world – and Tourist History clearly still resonates with ‘What You Know’ recently reaching 1 billion streams globally on Spotify.
Following the release of Tourist History they continued to evolve, landing in the Top 2 of the UK chart with sophomore album 2012’s Beacon and subsequent albums Gameshow, False Alarm and Keep on Smiling, which have all landed in the top 10 of the UK charts, cementing the band as a global arena band and festival headliners.
Most recently, in 2024, the band embarked on a sold out 30-date amphitheatre tour of the United States, finishing the year in style with a sold out Australian arena tour, which culminated in an incredible performance at the iconic Sydney Opera house, showcasing the trio’s unwavering worldwide appeal. Now they’ll come back to the capital to celebrate 15 years of Tourist History in London’s Crystal Palace Park.
Combining infectious melodies and stadium-ready hooks, special guests THE VACCINES have been fixtures of London’s indie rock scene since the release of their platinum-selling debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? in 2011. The festival favourites continued to find success both at home and abroad with subsequent records Come of Age, English Graffiti, Combat Sports, Back in Love City, and Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations. Now they’re heading back to the beginning as they bring their debut album show to Crystal Palace Park.
Also playing on the day is alternative British musician JAMES MARRIOTT. The multi-disciplinary artist has embarked on multiple sold-out tours across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, including festival appearances at Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight Festival, Pink Pop and many more. Blending alternative and indie-pop musical soundscapes, James has crafted a unique sound that is rapidly gaining widespread popularity.
Tailoring a brand of whimsical but uplifting indie rock, THE ROYSTON CLUB are a Wrexham-formed quartet favouring melodic guitar lines and anthemic choruses, which is sure to bring the house down at Crystal Palace Park this summer.
