Fresh off of releasing the first independent album of their careers, TURNOVER announces their headlining North American “Down On Earth” tour. Beginning November 3rd in Cincinnati, the band will play an extensive run across the continent through November and December before concluding in Asheville, NC on December 10th. Turnover will be joined by Nothing and Trauma Ray on this run, which begins after a Summer tour that included festival sets at Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo, as well as a date opening for Coheed and Cambria at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 29th before playing Coheed’s Neverender Festival in Santa Ana on October 3rd. The band will also be taking the Down On Earth tour overseas in March 2027, with dates across Europe and the UK beginning March 9th in Berlin and concluding with two nights in London, March 19th and 20th.
Turnover’s sixth album, Down On Earth is a foundational shift for the band. It’s an evolution encompassing fragments of the various sounds and scenes they’ve cut their teeth in over their decade-spanning career. Honed in with the help of their longtime front of house engineer Zac Montez, Turnover sought out to and succeeded in capturing the essence of their renowned live show to Down On Earth. The album is also the most collaborative in their discography. The band reconvened after 2022’s Myself in the Way and took their time, utilizing the course of four years to hammer out the shape of their new album in the room together, iterating and improvising on ideas, experiences, riffs, and stray lyrics that each member brought to those sessions from lived experiences and life changes over that span.
