A stunning evolution in both sound and sentiment, AUTOMATIC is THE LUMINEERS’ first collection of new music in three years. Upon release in February 2025, it debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200 (and #2 on Top Rock Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Independent Albums), critics praising the band’s “raw, vulnerable, and emotionally connected” latest effort (American Songwriter). Fans’ first taste came in the form of lead single ‘Same Old Song’, which reached #1 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Airplay chart – the pair’s eighth song to reach the top spot.
