LOATHE, the UK genre-blurring outfit who toe the line between heavy and ambient while incorporating shoegaze, prog metal, synths, and big breakdowns, have announced a Fall US tour. Kicking off October 21st in Mesa, AZ, the 25-date tour will make stops in Austin, Nashville, Brooklyn, Chicago, Seattle, and many more before wrapping up November 24th in Anaheim. Support on the tour will include TRAUMA RAY and SPY.
The band recently released the new track “Gifted Every Strength.” Unfolding over six minutes, the track is a devastating journey through hard-edged metal, euphoric psychedelia, and driving shoegaze tones, anchored by a rhythmic line that shifts and metamorphoses as the song progresses. In the years since their last full-length, 2020’s I Let It In and It Took Everything, LOATHE have assumed a totemic status within the global heavy music landscape, opening massive tours with the likes of Korn, Knocked Loose, Glassjaw, and most recently joining Spiritbox on their Tsunami Sea North American tour.
