Following the release of their acclaimed 10th album, I Beat Loneliness, BUSH are set to arrive for their first UK tour in eight years.
Led by singer and guitarist Gavin Rossdale, the band will hit arenas in Nottingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London this November as special guests of Danish rockers Volbeat.
The reaction to I BEAT LONELINESS has been brilliant. We’re looking forward to playing for everyone. Lots of songs to choose from. It’s been too long and we’re thrilled to be coming. See you there! – Gavin Rossdale
BUSH burst into the rock firmament in 1994 with the classic alternative album Sixteen Stone, which featured singles including ‘Glycerine’ and ‘Machinehead’. Since then, major tracks have included ‘Swallowed’, ‘The Chemicals Between Us’ and this year’s ‘The Land of Milk and Honey’, which was a number one track on US Rock Radio this summer. It was the group’s 8th number one radio track in the US.
I Beat Loneliness, released in July on earMUSIC, was praised by CLASH as “their most confessional and profound work to date”. Metal Talk called it “a triumph”, Metal Hammer praised its deeply personal vision that “will delight fans”, while Powerplay praised Gavin Rossdale as “a master storyteller”.
The project is Gavin’s most personal artistic statement to date, exploring issues around mental health and his own wellbeing. Marking World Mental Health Day on October 10, the BUSH x Project Healthy Minds hub was launched to provide fans in the US with educational resources, tools, and different ways to connect with mental health support networks. Gavin, a longtime mental health advocate, sees this partnership as a natural extension of his mission to break stigma and encourage open conversations about emotional well-being especially among men, an area he acknowledges many struggle with. Through this initiative, BUSH aims to use their platform to not only raise awareness but also provide fans with actionable resources and support.
To coincide with the partnership, BUSH released a video for the title track from I Beat Loneliness. The song explores the fragility between hardship and hope, encouraging listeners to seek out the light in difficult moments. Gavin said: “It’s a great paradox, and it shows living in the moment and being full of hope and wonder.”
