ARIA-Award winning Gamilaraay artist THELMA PLUM is hitting the road this July and August, performing stripped-back sets across the country for the ‘I Don’t Play That Song Anymore’ Tour. Marking her first ever national acoustic tour, Thelma is dusting off her songbook and acoustic guitar, ready to warm hearts with her spellbinding story-telling and soaring vocals.
An up close and personal experience, Thelma’s unplugged set will have fans mesmerised and singing along to their favourite songs in intimate settings. Performing in a duo format, she’ll be playing a career-spanning set including songs from her ARIA-Award winning release I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back, while hinting at revisiting some tunes from the archived set lists.
I actually can’t believe that this is the first time I’ve done an acoustic tour. When I started out playing shows it was just me and a guitar, but it’s been a long time since I’ve performed like that. It’s been a big year, I am working on a new record, and it feels like the perfect time to pack up the songbook and play some intimate shows with my friend Toby and let the songs and the stories behind them breathe! I hope to see you at one of the shows! – Thelma Plum
Returning to stages after selling out shows nationwide last year, Thelma will be travelling to all corners of the country enchanting regional audiences in Bendigo, Horsham, Geelong, Warrnambool, Canberra, Richmond, Avoca Beach, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Albany, Bellingen, Eltham, Gold Coast, Eumundi, Devonport and Hobart.
