Continuing to chart its own course as one of North America’s premier destinations for live comedy, The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF) is thrilled to announce the addition of new star-studded afternoon shows across five 2026 festival weekends. Fans in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver can now experience even more laughs with an expanded lineup of daytime performances.
The expanded afternoon programming slate adds headlining performances from viral sensation DR. PHIL LIVE in a limited Canadian run, marking fans’ last chance to see this ADAM RAY character in Canada, and fan favourite Jeff Arcuri, whose sharp, high-energy comedy anchors select dates across the festival weekends.
In Edmonton, ADAM RAY IS DR. PHIL LIVE, KAM PATTERSON and JESS KIRSON perform on Saturday, July 18, followed by JEFF ARCURI with AHREN BELISLE on Sunday, July 19. Winnipeg audiences can enjoy JEFF ARCURI and EMMA WILLMANN on Saturday, July 18, with ADAM RAY IS DR. PHIL LIVE, BIG JAY OAKERSON and DONNELL RAWLINGS taking the stage on Sunday, July 19.
In Halifax, ADAM RAY IS DR. PHIL LIVE leads the afternoon on Sunday, August 9, joined by PAULY SHORE and DUSTY SLAY, while Calgary features JEFF ARCURI with CAITLIN PELUFFO on Saturday, August 29. Vancouver will host ADAM RAY IS DR. PHIL LIVE, STEPH TOLEV and BRUCE BRUCE on Saturday, August 29, followed by JEFF ARCURI with PETE LEE on Sunday, August 30.
Now entering its sixth consecutive year, GOCF has cemented its reputation as a disruptor in the live entertainment space; reimagining how comedy is experienced through its open-air, multi-city format that unites audiences through a shared love of stand-up and the connection it sparks.
What truly sets the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival apart is the way it builds community beyond the stage. Through the Great Outdoors Community Fund, the festival invests in local charities and organizations that reflect its three core pillars: Arts & Culture, Mental Health, and Sustainability. Each city stop sees meaningful support directed toward initiatives that strengthen local creative industries, foster inclusion, and help create lasting impact long after the curtains close. It’s a model rooted in connection, ensuring that GOCF gives back to the same communities that make the festival experience possible.
As the comedy landscape evolves and audiences seek new ways to connect, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival stands at the forefront; bridging culture, community, and comedy in a way that feels fresh, inclusive, and unmistakably of this moment.
