It’s getting loud again on FULL FORCE Island! – And for the FULL FORCE Festival it can’t be loud enough. At least as far as the first band announcements for 2024 are concerned: With ARCHITECTS, a metalcore force to be reckoned with as the first headliner, and also the other line-up news crack like thunder in the ears of the metal community.
After the festival is before the festival: While the visitors are still wallowing in mosh pit memories, longing back to the Gremminer See, tasting the sweet taste of the legendary strawberry punch on the tip of their tongues and caressing the tattered rain poncho with a sigh, the FULL FORCE crew has already launched the first music pearls for the summer vacation 2024.
No FULL FORCE without a headliner. The first member of the Trio Infernale for 2024 comes from England and knows the basics of metalcore inside out: The ARCHITECTS – started in the early 2000’s as an underground act, the Brits now get whole crowds moving in circles, surfing or bobbing their heads. Musically, the combo from Brighton draws from the full and poaches from time to time in other genres. This sound makes ARCHITECTS live a real elemental force. With the MAD MAX Stage, FULL FORCE 2024 offers enough space to unleash this power.
There will be even more pressure in the metalcore cauldron in the coming year from BURY TOMORROW, among others. The six-piece combo from Southampton, England, has been doing its thing since 2006. The FULL FORCE is familiar territory for the band. In 2022 they already fired one heat wave after the next into the sweaty audience and thus ensured a mighty heated crowd.
That IMMINENCE won’t screw up their performance next year is set. Eddie Berg is simply a too gifted violinist for that. When it comes to ignition, BLEED FROM WITHIN are right up front. On stage, the Scots are always on fire. And it never takes long until the spark is transferred to the audience.
For the hardcore fans there is a concentrated hardcore pack in 2024 with CAGE FIGHT. When singer Rachel Aspe thunders into the mic, the lightning bolts come all by themselves. Whoever is not in the mosh pit at two is put through the wringer until legs and arms automatically throw themselves into the air.
The next natural spectacle goes by the name of MADBALL. The US-American hardcore giants only stop when there is not one stone left on the other. That’s why they leave the carrot directly at home and have only the music whip in their hand luggage.
Also CASEY and COUNTERPARTS let a hail of hardcore rain down on the fans, even though their melodic parts promise a little respite at least from time to time. A summer night storm is coming up with the post-hardcore guys from SILVERSTEIN. With their 2022 record “Misery Made Me” they have the right soundtrack ready for it. Paradise is brought to the stage by FUTURE PALCE – The Berlin combo around singer and shouter Maria Lessing had played their first festival show at FULL FORCE 2022 and is already looking forward mightily to their return to the vacation island.

Don’t praise the day before the evening, but the FULL FORCE team is already proud as punch and eagerly anticipating the summer vacation of the year. With the first line-up announcement, the heavy-duty transporter has started rolling. But it is far from being fully loaded. Even more freight, in the form of band news, will be here in the coming weeks and months – but the festival is already doing honour to the “most metal place on earth”!
